This suiseki viewing stone is named The Steps & Stages. It was found in the Central Anatolian Plateau in Turkey.

This scholar stone has not been cut, dyed, or modified in any way. It has not been polished, either. It has a natural base, as can be seen in the photos and video. You can display it as it is, or just shave a bit off the bottom; up to you. The Steps & Stages does not come with a daiza.

    Max. height: 9cm (3.54inches)
    Max. width: 11.5cm (4.52 inches)
    Max. depth: 8cm (3.15 inches)

You will get this exact piece when you buy.

True collectable suiseki demand and command respect. You can display them in perfect harmony with bonsai, calligraphy, or simply as a standalone piece of natural art in a multitude of settings. Aside from the angle at which you will display this suiseki contemplation stone, which is obviously of paramount importance, the 'set' is as important as the setting: Proper lighting is recommended when displaying this beauty -- or any suiseki. A well-considered combination of different colors and different types of light (candlelight, blacklight, firelight, take your pick) will ensure The Steps & Stages will always show the best version of itself.

All of the photos and the video were taken on a sunny day, outdoors. Some were taken in the shade, some under direct sunlight. The first four pictures and the ones showing the dimensions and weight were taken with the rock dry, and no flash. The rest, wet, with no flash. The video was taken with the stone halfway between dry and wet. I did not embellish the pictures in any way, what you see is what you get.
